| CAPTAIN THOMAS DENTON Part cyborg, Denton is a fast-talking, no-nonsense sort of guy who will never exactly run from a fight but prefers to find another way out. In his line of work, this is rarely an option. He lives on the edge of everything – danger and debt! Denton has been in the alien salvage business for nearly 15 years and probably has more knowledge of ancient alien technology -- a skill he often uses to his advantage -- and the customs of different parts of the Terran Empire and its various inhabitants. He's also well travelled, having visited more of the colonies than anyone else aboard The Dirty Digger -- and, of course, pissed off a lot of people along the way. |

ENGINEER MEGHAN ROUTLEDGE |
| JEN MOFATT A weapons expert, Jen can create a weapon from anything given enough time and is a specialist in his/her chosen field, Ex-army, ex-Marine with little love for bureaucracy and people who give orders with little field experience. Trusts Denton with her life (and vice versa) but that doesn’t mean /he won’t argue when the team find themselves in a fix. Moffat had her own body adapted to incorporate built-in weapons such as a arm laser and cybernetic sighting. She's often on the hunt for alien weaponry that can augment her already formidable weaponry. I think it would be cool to give Jen once had some kind of ancient augment which has integrated with her cyborg arm but doesn't always work -- and she doesn't know how to work it, except it seems to respond to her moods. The augment can do some pretty incredible things -- blast oncoming attackers -- but it can't be relied to do them all the time and generally, it lands her in more trouble than she's almost certainly trying to get out of when she uses it! Obviously, the fact that she has this augment makes him of great interest to the Corporates that run the Terran Empire. |

DAN KEABLE |
| MEX-1B3 The most advanced of the Mex aboard the Digger (all of which are patched together and look extremely odd), Mex is under the impression that it actually runs the ship and the rest of the crew are under its command. This eccentricity most people can live with when it’s stuck in Engineering and bossing its mechanical brothers, but take it planet side and misunderstanding can – and do – occur. When the robots are recharging they 'merge' with the ship, so they become part of the wall, or they can be ordered to be come a barrier if the ship is boarded. |

SHEZERATH Following the discovery of the CHALATH’TUR threat, Shezerath, who looks like a glorified insect, signs aboard The Digger despite protests like "we don't want an alien that stinks like a corpse". For the alien, the crew represent the Human talents that might beat the vile alien race which destroyed his own and he intends to study them to find out exactly what it is that will, he believes, save the galaxy. He has disgusting eating habits, never stops talking, is immensely strong and possessess a range of psi powers that may prove useful in a jam |
| THE DIRTY DIGGER Beaten up ship, old, jerry-rigged interior. Small but functional and very manouverable. |
