This blog by Kevin Patrick is devoted to the history of Australian comic books, from the 1930s and 40s to the present day. Each installment looks at a different aspect of Australian comics' history, ranging from landmark characters and their creators, to profiles of publishing companies and interviews with current Australian comic writers and artists. The Comics Down Under 'blog' will reprint previously published installments from Collectormania magazine.

Phatsville came about when Animation students Glenn Manders, John Stewart, Ben Constantine, Giles Kilham and Tom Scarlett decided to write and draw comics featuring characters of their own creation.
With their individual styles of drawing and humour, the collaborative effort between these artists produces a comic that is diverse by nature and appealing to a broad audience of readers.
