Tim Russ (Tuvok)
Birthday: 22 June
Official web site: www.timrusswebpagenet
April 2002: Tim Russ had his original web domain bought by Taiwanese-based company Ultimate Search the moment it was up for renewal. Tim's page is up and running again. The old URL at timrusswebpage.com is now being used by its new "rightful" owner for business purposes, abusing Tim's name and his site's popularity to attract customers. Please spread the word so that nobody gets accidentally misdirected and to make sure that everybody searching for information on Tim knows where to find it.
Tim Russ is not alone in suffering this latest development in internet abuse, however legally it may have been undertaken: the British Poetry Society was a recent high-profile victim (300,000 hits a month) of Ultimate Search's purchasing power. They have now had the domain returned, but not before a week or so of intensive activity, including the reprinting of 32,000 leaflets with a new website address. Ultimate Search agreed to transfer the Poetry Society's back to them free of charge. The Poetry Society’s website can now, once again, be found at www.poetrysoc.com , where it has been since 1997, as well as at its new address, www.poetrysociety.org.uk.
